Honors English p 3
Letter
In my sophomore year I hope to achieve great things in academics, as well as sports and other hobbies. Academically, I strive for all A’s on my report card, and am ready to work very hard for it. Because I am in honors English and other harder classes such as Yearbook, I know that this will sometimes mean substituting hanging out with my friends on the weekends to meet deadlines for school. This year another one of my goals is to try to get all my work done on time, and to not procrastinate. I know from last year that procrastination makes everything worse, and it is much easier to just do all the work on time even if it means staying up very late. Getting a 4.0 GPA is one of my dreams for sophomore year academically. Although it will take much hard work and sacrifices, I hope I can pull through and overcome my obstacles. When I am older, my dream is to write for a fashion magazine, so I think that by challenging myself in English now in high school, I am preparing wisely for my future. In way of sports, I have been playing soccer for over 8 years and still really enjoy it. I hope that this year my team will be able to achieve lots of wins and hopefully make it to the State Cup. At the State Cup, which is usually around March, some of the best teams in California meet to play against each other, competing for the title of State Champions. This year I feel like I have the potential to achieve each and every one of my dreams. Even though academically they might be a lot of work, I am going to try to have as much fun as possible doing them.
