Medway Towns Footpath Group is a walking group based in the Medway Towns and was formed in 1979.

We have members of a wide age range. Whilst we all come from different backgrounds, have different interests and experiences, the one thing we all share is the love of walking.

We are a friendly Group and make newcomers very welcome. Our current membership is around 150 although it is unusual to have more than 40 members on a walk. We walk throughout the year, usually on Sunday mornings with some longer Saturday walks and in Summer occasional evening walks.

The walks are mainly in Kent with many being close to or in the Medway Towns. The Sunday walks begin at 10:00 am and are between 5 and 7 miles, we usually end the walk by about 1:00 pm.
