Fifth Grade Channel

If fifth graders want to continue with our music curriculum they can:

• sing your favorite showtune or pop song
• make up new words to the song "Let's Put the Rooster in the Stew" and sing it in a round with someone at home. Extra challenge: make a video of yourself singing the song and email it to Mrs. Brownell! (brownella@chatham.k12.ny.us)
• Make an account on noteflight.com and play around with how to compose a melody. Then make up an 8 measure (or more) song. Extra challenge: add lyrics to it. Email your finished product to Mrs. Brownell so she can see what you made!
• Sorry we can't do ukulele quite yet. You are welcome to watch the ukulele videos linked below anyway so you are ready to play them when we get back to school!
