Title: New Horizon of Dynamic Fracture Mechanics based on Mechanoluminescence

The aim of this research is to suggest new optical method for the determination of the fracture toughness in various modes of static and dynamic fracture by using the Mechano-luminescent paint. The visualized evaluating method of fracture toughness based on the mechano-luminescent technique will help us to develop the innovative standard non-destructive testing method for static and dynamic crack propagations and its quantitative analysis on the macro emitting mechanism in SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ as well.
