As the first point of call for any website amends or queries regarding the CMS,
my role was to familiarise myself with a new panel CMS and then populate and publish the
whole microsite within a very tight time frame. Once live, I was responsible for ensuring
the site remained up to date, updating content on the site, publishing blog posts and
embedding new multimedia content.
The new microsite CMS included new functionality not found on the main Roundhouse
website - namely the flexibility offered by the panel layout, the inbuilt share functionality
and social media integration. My role was also to liaise with the web developer to fix any
bugs with these tools as and when they surfaced. I also worked closely with the
developers to ensure the Google Analytics functioned as required and that all activity
within the site was trackable.
As the campaign developed, I also played an integral role within the live broadcasts,
providing online support to the Broadcast and New Media team by setting up test pages,
embedding the stream and monitoring Twitter and Facebook comments throughout the
performance to ensure our online community were engaged as well as those within the
space.
Please note: The Flickr embeds on the blog posts are no longer live. As the microsite
has been kept solely for archive purposes, the photos have now been taken down from
the Roundhouse Flickr channel
