Mead Park-Corry, PA

Our mission at Mead Park is to maintain and improve upon the dream of Glenn Mead, a Corry native, who wanted residents of
the City of Corry to have a place to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The land for the park was donated by Glenn Mead.

Mead Park is a non-profit organization.  Mr. Mead also left an endowment fund to help maintain the park. Along with tax dollars from the City of Corry, we receive financial support from the United Fund of the Corry Area, the Corry Community Foundation, the Jesse Flick Foundation.

Board members are volunteers that live within the Corry City limits. We welcome citizens from the surrounding area to attend our meetings that are held the 3rd Tuesday, each month except in December. Meetings are at 7:00 PM and are held at the Corry Historical Society's Museum located on the park property off Mead Avenue.

Mead Park is an inviting 48 acre wooded park in the center of Corry, PA.  We offer picnic facilities, tennis courts, hiking trails, and fishing for youth.  Pavilions are available with water and electric service, when reserved in advance.  There are ample picnic tables for use without reservations, and these are available on a "first come-first served" basis.  Two lodges have basic kitchen facilities and are available by reservation only.   Just go to the Reservations link for information on rates or to reserve your spot now for picnics, reunions, or weddings.
