A Poser / Daz Studio prop Easily worth 10$

September 25th 2017 8:23 PM : The material scripts had a non lethal problem wherein they were trying to apply guitar materials to each node

October 1st 2017 12:18 AM : the scripts that apply materials worked on my PC only because the presets are in my 3rd daz content folder .... so probably wouldnt work on yours

Installation

Unzip the file found at the bottom of this page into your daz studio content folder

typically : c:\program files\daz\studio\content

typically : C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library

once installed the prop will appear in your library under content/props/mcasual

Also there will be 3 mass-apply-material scripts , in the content/presets/materials/mcasual/mcjGibGit339 folder

for iRay materials,

for 3Delight materials

for OpenGL materials

if that's just not working

if you go in Daz Studio's

Edit / Preferences / Content

then click on the "Content Directory Manager" button

there's an item called "Poser Formats"

and one called "Daz Studio Formats"

in my case i have 6 "Poser Format" folders/directories

the one use most is "C:\Users\Jacques\Documents\DAZ 3D\Jacques"

So when i unzip one of the zip files from my site, i unzip it in that folder

once that's done, the guitar prop will be found in Daz Studio's "Content Library" panel under

Poser Formats / Jacques / Props / mCasual

the zip file also contain texture setup scripts

if i unzipped the zip in C:\Users\Jacques\Documents\DAZ 3D\Jacques

then those 2 scripts are found in

Daz Studio Formats / Jacques / Presets / Materials / mcasual

Use

The string turn-keys, the 4 tone/volume knobs and the rocker switch are all animatable

If properly installed, the 3 material setup scripts will be found in content/presets/materials/mcasual/mcjGibGit339 folder

for iRay materials,

for 3Delight materials

for OpenGL materials
