Singing Contest
Solo, duet, or trio
A cappella or limited accompaniment
One to two songs (as time allows)

Banjo & Fiddle Contests
One to three tunes (as time allows)


Band Contest
Bands must include at least three instrumental musicians and perform two to three songs (as time allows)
At least one number must include vocals.

Successful contestants will demonstrate traditional old-time musical methods and style within the context of this festival.  

Musicians who have won first place in a category two consecutive years must sit out of that category for a year.
