PDE

PDE – Partial Differential Equations – is the backbone of problem description in Structural Mechanics and Fluid Mechanics.

Analytical Solutions are limited to certain types of PDE and the boundary must be regular (rectangle). In real problems the solution are obtained using Domain Discretization Techniques – like Finite Element or Finite Difference Methods

In this segment we will use the MATLAB’s PDE Toolbox in MATLAB to solve linear PDE using Finite Element Method
