About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in Medical Imaging at School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciencesat King's College London. My research topics include reconstruction of motion corrupted MRI of fetal brain, heart, body and placenta, and understanding brain development in preterm babies using MRI.
I thank to Academy of Medical Sciences, Rosetrees Trust, EPSRC DTP and CDT in Smart Medical Imaging for funding my research projects. I am also contributing to the Developing Human Connectome Project, iFind project and Placenta Imaging Project.
I graduated at Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University, Bratislava. My PhD was awarded at Department of Computing, Imperial College London, where I worked on image analysis of Infant brain MRI. During my postoc at Imperial I worked on neonatal brain MRI. At Institute of Biomedical Engineering at University of Oxford I developed automatic image analysis tools for fetal brain MRI and Ultrasound.
