On Monday, July 7th, we took a trip to Bethany Christian Services building in Madison Heights to deliver teddy bear and book packages and donate children’s clothing. We donated 69 teddy bear and book packages and 85 articles of clothing. That is over 230 items donated to the foster care agency!
“The bear and book packages will be great for when children first enter our care. When children are taken from their homes and brought into the agency, they are scared. The packages will comfort the children and ease their transition,” says Missy Parker-Miller, POA Advocate and Church Liaison at Bethany.
We are very happy to be a service to the organization. We will be donating more items to the organization at the end of the summer and during National Child Adoption Awareness Month in November. CLICK HERE for more information on Bethany Christian Services.
