Our Story
Hello! My name is Taylor Tinsley. I am an upcoming philanthropist. I am also the Co-Founder of the Maria Joy Foundation.
The name Maria Joy came from the middle name of my mother Olivia Tinsley, Co-Founder of The Maria Joy Foundation.
As an infant, she was put into foster care. She was then adopted along with 3 other children whom became her brothers and sister. Because my mother was in foster care, though not very long, and her parents, my grandparents, were foster parents, I became inspired to work with foster children. I have had a love for working with children for years. Both of my current jobs allow me to work with younger children. Most importantly, I love working with children in need. Through my organization, I will promote child adoption because I believe every child deserves a loving family.
I am blessed that I have a loving and supportive family. I vow to bring together families within the community to help me create new families for Michigan's foster children.
