2018 Signal Generator

The 2018 signal generator covers the frequency range 80 kHz to 520 MHz in increments of 10 Hz. Its big brother, the 2019, had the range extended to 1040 MHz by the use of a frequency doubler. This meant that the frequency steps were also doubled and so only 20 Hz increments were available above 520 MHz. Strangely, the frequency readout does not reflect this limitation and will happily display 10 Hz steps!

This 2018 usually works well, although it does have the occasional "off day" when it crashes a lot.
