About
I am an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Matemática of the Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL), Brazil, where I work on nonlinear partial differential equations and mathematical analysis.
My research focuses primarily on nonlinear dispersive equations, with particular emphasis on the Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation, initial-boundary value problems, stability of solitary waves, stabilization and controllability, and dispersive equations posed on networks and metric graphs.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Adán J. Corcho. I subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the Centro de Modelamiento Matemático (CMM), Universidad de Chile, under the supervision of Prof. Claudio Muñoz.
I joined the Instituto de Matemática at UFAL in July 2017.
I am currently a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 2).
