APIE RENGINĮ

„Gintarinė jūrmylė“ – tai VĮ Klaipėdos valstybinio jūrų uosto direkcijos ir Klaipėdos apskrities lengvosios atletikos federacijos sumanytas XXI šimtmečio sporto ir sveikatingumo projektas – tarptautinės bėgimo varžybos. Organizatoriai siekia, kad kiekvienas Klaipėdos miesto, krašto gyventojas kartu su kaimyninių valstybių bėgikais įveiktų jūrmylės nuotolį – 1852 metrus. Profesionaliems bėgikams siūloma įveikti 6 jūrmyles, o bėgikėms – 3 jūrmyles. Šių nuotolių nugalėtojų vardai ir pavardės įamžinamos atminimo akmenyje, kuris sveria 6 tonas ir buvo iškeltas iš marių dugno, kai buvo gilinama uosto akvatorija. Visiems dalyviams, baigusiems nuotolį, įteikiamas pažymėjimas. Taip pat nemaža dalis bėgikų yra apdovanojami „Gintarinės jūrmylės“ proginiais suvenyrais.

ABOUT THE EVENT

“Amber nautical mile” is the sport and health project of the XXI century – International Running Competition created by SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority and the federation of Klaipeda County. The organizers seek that inhabitants of Klaipeda city and region together with the runners of neighbour states covered the distance of nautical mile – 1852 metres. Professional men runners are suggested to cover 6 miles and women runners 3 miles. The name of the winners are inscribed into the stone of memory. This stone with the weight of 6 tons was taken from the bottom of the seabed when the water territory was dredged. All participants, who complete the distance, get certificate. Besides quite a number of runners are awarded with souvenirs of “Amber nautical mile”.
