Westminster Food Pantry

Westminster Food Pantry, an outreach bank operating out of Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Central Spokane, principally serves the food insecure in this impoverished area. Over 32.2% of those in this area live below the poverty line. 353 of the 394 children in this area qualify for the free and reduced lunch program through the school district. The demographics of those in need vary in their circumstances, from homeless to single parent families. Manito Presbyterian Church has been involved in this missional outreach program over the past twenty years, bringing nonperishable food and toiletries, data entry of available items, serving on the board, and coordination.
