About me:

My name is Manikandan Rangaswamy, and I have been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Central University of Kerala (CUK), Kasaragod, since December 2015. Prior to that, I was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and worked with Prof. Mrinal Kanti Ghosh. Before that, I worked as a Visiting Scientist at Stat-Math Unit, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Bengaluru. I have completed PhD in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), under the supervision of Prof. Achyutha Krishnamoorthy. 

Research: 

My research interests primarily lie in Applied Probability and Stochastic Operations Research. More precisely, Stochastic Modelling and its Analysis of Queues//Reliability/Storage Systems, Stochastic Games in Queues, Telecommunications Networks and Applications.
