FINAL
Rileys Belle Vue - 24th April 2013
Dean Sheridan beat Michael Wild 6-4
Michael won a scrappy first frame, but then Dean took the initiative, winning four in a row to lead 4-1, including an excellent 74 clearance in the third and snatching the fourth on the black ball
Wild then staged a recovery, aided by consecutive breaks of 127 and 91, to draw level at 4-4
An even ninth frame eventually went to a respotted black after Wild took the colours superbly to level; Sheridan missed one easy opportunity but finally took the frame to regain the lead
In the tenth it was close again. Wild was in with a good chance to clear from the penultimate red, but went in-off. Sheridan took the chance to establish a good lead, leaving Wild needing snookers. The concession followed.

Michael Wild 5-3 Gary Lees
A high quality match with six breaks over 50
Wild started very strongly, and raced to a 2-0 lead with a 93 break in the first
In the sixth, with the balls open, Lees had an opportunity to draw level, but miscued, let Wild in for a 92 and went 4-2 down
Lees pulled back to one behind but a 57 from Wild in the eighth ensured a return to the final he won last year
Dean Sheridan 5-3 Wayne Brown
A scrappy but exciting match. Sheridan led 3-1 but Brown recovered to 3-3 with a great 52 clearance under pressure
Sheridan took the seventh after needing two snookers and then held off Brown in the eighth to book his place in the final
Quarter Finals; Wednesday 27th March
Michael Wild 4-0 Reece Kershaw; breaks of 51 and 69 in the first two frames put Wild in charge of this match and he cruised to a comfortable victory
Gary Lees 4-0 Nick Dyson; Lees played strongly throughout, scoring well whenever his opponent made a mistake, including a 57 break in the third
Dean Sheridan 4-3 Craig Steadman; a close match throughout. Two 51 breaks in the fourth and fifth frames put Sheridan in the lead but Steadman, despite being unhappy with the table, hit back with a 91 to level at 3-3. Solid play from Sheridan saw him take the final frame decider
Wayne Brown 4-1 Jamie McArdle; Brown moved comfortably to a 3-0 lead before McArdle took the fourth on a respotted black. A 59 in the next put Brown in the next round
