Turtle Art

http://turtleart.org/

Follow the tutorial HERE: http://turtleart.org/programming/index.html to become familiar with the TurtleArt coding environment.

Challenge:

Choose a card from the box and replicate the code in Turtle Art. Take a screenshot and upload to the Google Slides Presentation: http://bit.ly/share18

If you don't have the cards, you may choose one of the designs from here:

http://turtleart.org/programming/samples/index.html

Hint: Drag an image you like into the Turtle Art coding window.

Extra Credit:

Create an original design. Hint: Start with one of the ready-made designs and "tweak" the numbers and colors.

Turtle Art is free!

If you want to install TurtleArt, the best way to obtain the installation files is to send them an email and ask for it. They respond quickly and only ask you to ask for the link from them because they want to know who is using their software.

There is a TurtleArt App for iOS, but it is not free. It is installed on Barb’s iPad. It is a bit different, but it functions much the same as the software.
