research assistant, 2020-2021, (now a PhD Student at University of Groningen, Netherland)

Nanthicha graduated from Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University in 2019. She is interested in the application of single-cell technology in medical research and then joined the VC lab as a research assistant. She worked on the optimization protocol for single-nucleus and single-cell RNA sequencing of human tumors. She enjoys running, trekking and camping in her leisure time.

Siwat Ruangroengkulrith (Chat)

Graduate Student from 2016-2019

Siwat obtained his Bachelor's degree from Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University in 2015. He is interested in the interaction between bacterial community in the biological samples. His interest also includes the interplay between transcription factors and nucleosome that primary control gene function of the cells.

Kawinnat Sue-ob (aka "Pimmy")

MSc student - Biochemistry, 2017-2020 (Now a PhD candidate at Liverpool University, UK)

Kawinnat worked was on the transcriptomic changes in response to high ambient temperature in Arabidopsis. Kawinnat is now a PhD student in the University of Liverpool, UK (2021-2025). She continues working on bioinformatics and plant systems. Apart from study, she enjoys running and playing badminton.

Warasinee Mujchariyakul (Was)

MSc student - Biochemistry, 2018-2021 (Now a PhD candidate at University of Melbourne, Australia)

Warasinee graduated from Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University in 2017. She joined Department of Biochemistry as a Master's student. She was interested in bioinformatics and systems biology. Her project was about exploring molecular basis of cancer killing abilities of immune cells using single-cell transcriptomics. Apart from academic activities, she enjoys planting, especially cacti and succulents, and reading.

Todsapol Techo (Pai)

Postdoc from 2020 - 2022 (Now a faculty member at Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University)

Todsapol is a postdoctoral researcher in VC lab from Aug 2020. He obtained a PhD from Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Mahidol university. He is interested in the systematic response of yeast and plant to the environmental stimuli, and also computational approach especially a machine leaning to answer the biological question of my interest. Todsapol also likes painting and modeling of plastic miniatures. He also enjoys drinking, listening to live music, and photography.

Juthamard Chantaraamporn (Toon)

Research assistant, from 2021 (Now a research scientist at Chulabhorn Research Institute)

Juthamard graduated with a master’s degree program in Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health from Chulabhorn Graduate Institute in 2018. She is interested in bioinformatics and single-cell omics application in biomedical sciences to unravel mechanisms related to disease pathogenesis and outcome. She is now working on single-cell transcriptomics and system biology to understand complex diseases (such as cancer). Juthamard loves going out for a cup of coffee or some dessert, meeting friends, and sightseeing. She also likes to try new things to explore her new repertoire.

Napaporn Sriden (Kaekae)

Ph.D. student from 2015

Napaporn graduated from Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University in 2013, and joined the lab in 2015. She is investigating gene expression regulation in hybrid plants and how this links to early plant growth, by analysing RNA-seq data. Outside the lab, Napaporn enjoys travelling and singing.

Peerapat Khamwachirapithak (Park)

PhD student from 2016 (Now a scientist at BIOTEC, NSTDA)

Peerapat graduated from Department of Biology, Khon Kaen University in 2015. Now, he is a Master's student under the Biochemistry Programme. He is interested in bioinformatics and is currently gaining experiences working in the VC lab focusing on a role of a long non-coding RNA and methylation of histone H3 at lysine 4 in mitotic bookmarking.
