Varodom got his B.Eng. in Biochemical Engineering (Process Biotechnology) from University College London (UCL). He then went to Cambridge to pursue his long-term interest in utilising mathematical methods and modelling to analyse biological systems, and switched to Computational Biology (M.Phil.). He stayed on in Cambridge to read his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology with Dr. Sarah Teichmann.
Varodom started worked working as a lecturer at Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University in 2011, before taking a leave to work as a research associate with Dr. Philip Wigge at Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge University from 2012-2015. In 2023, Varodom and VC lab relocated to the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

Kanjana is a researcher specializing in spatial transcriptomics and bioinformatics. Her current work focuses on analyzing spatial transcriptomics to investigate the tumor microenvironment and leveraging single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to predict gene expression from standard H&E-stained images. Kanjana earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University, USA, where her research explored the effect of abiotic stress and circadian clock on gene expression in plants. Outside of her research, she enjoys crocheting, watching movies, and traveling.
Sarintip graduated with a Master's degree from the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart Univesity in 2020. She is interested in transcriptome and bioinformatics. Her current projects are exploring the immune repertoire of Thai populations and the profiles of cell types in various cancers by using single-cell (or single-nuclei) RNA-seq. Outside the lab, she enjoys watching movies, taking photos, and reading, especially cartoon books and she is a cat lover!
Jutapak graduated from Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University in 2015. She joined Department of Biochemistry as a Master's student. Jutapak is interested in bioinformatics and plant molecular biology and related fields. Her M.Sc. project was on the role of transcription factors in regulating flowering time in response to temperature changes in Arabidopsis. She likes to play badminton in her free time, and also has special interest in photography and travelling.
