Welcome!
Welcome to Magic in Famous Mysteries! In this class we will be exploring mysteries that have puzzled Muggles for many centuries. I'll fill you in on what the Muggles believe and what the actual, usually simple, Wizarding explanation is.
For numerous centuries, there have many unexplained mysteries, some of which you are probably very familiar with - the Bermuda Triangle, Stonehenge, Sasquatch, etc. Wizards have perfectly acceptable reasons for why these "mysteries" exist though. And if you wish to learn more about them, then this is the class for you!
Magic in Famous Mysteries was originally taught by Prof. Allie de Mauvaisefoi. But due to unfortunate circumstances (known as real life), she discontinued it. Alexia Riaper took over the class, as this was one of her favourite classes, with a few minor changes here and there. Professor Scarlet Leslie-Lewis loved the class and got permission from Alexia to bring it back. Then she entrusted the class to the awesome Polaris Black who offered it from 2015-2020. Scarlet got Magic in Famous Mysteries back in 2020 and taught it 2020-2021. My name is Professor Tarma Amelia Black. I took the class when Polaris taught it and loved it. I am very fortunate that Scarlet offered the class to me to teach, and accepted with great pleasure. Thank you, Scarlet! I hope that everyone finds out why it is, indeed, a magical and beloved class.
Any questions about the class should be sent to the class email hol.mifm @ gmail.com (without the spaces) and I will answer as soon as possible!
