Our Association

   The Maghreb-Alexander von Humboldt Alumni Association (MAvHAA) is an association between the alumni AvH scientists from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.  Its purpose is to strengthen scientific cooperation between these countries and to develop North-South bilateral relations, especially with Germany.

    Our Association was created on June 2009 in Rabat (Morocco).

     From 2009 to 2013, the executive members of the association are:

From 2018 to 2023, the executive members of the association are:

Prof. F. Lakrad, Vice President (Morocco).

Dr. M. Bouaziz, Vice President (Tunisia).

From 2023 to 2027, the executive members of the association are:

Prof. M. Abid, Secretary General (Morocco).

Prof. L. Debbi, Vice President (Algeria).

Prof. M. Ellouze, Vice President (Tunisia).

          The members would like to warmly thank the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Bonn, Germany) for his ongoing support. Similarly, we greatly thank the German embassies in Morroco, Algeria and Tunisia for their support in the organization of several events. We organized also several Kollegs and we developed some Newsletters.
