Dear Humboldtians, dear Ambassadors,

I would like to draw your attention on a new regional funding programme of DAAD and to ask you for distribution via your networks. We will also share the call via Humboldt Life.

The "Climate Research Alumni and Postdocs in Africa - (CLAPafrica)" Programme addresses Postdocs (up to 6 years after end of PhD) from all African countries. They will be enabled to work on climate related research projects in some Sub-Saharan African countries. As you will see from the Call, alumni of German funding initiatives will also be able to cooperate. This of course includes Humboldtians According to the information I got so far from DAAD, appropriate persons will be approached in a second step, after selection of the postdocs. Should I get any further information on this, I shall let you know.
