Dr. Magesh Nagarajan is an Associate Professor in School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) at IIT Jodhpur.
Prior to joining IIT Jodhpur, I worked as a faculty in IIM Nagpur, Coventry University (UK), Goa Institute of Management, as a postdoc in University of Southampton (UK) and as a Research associate in United Nations University (UNU-EHS, Bonn, Germany). I have a background in engineering, a masters by research from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a PhD in Operations and Information Management (Aston Business School, UK). I have undergraduation in Civil Engineering (Gold medalist) from (Puducherry Technological University).
As an interdisciplinary researcher, my primary interests are in applying Analytics, Simulation, Agent-based modelling, Operational Research, Management science, Business Process Simulation in enterprise systems and public services.
Looking for PhD students to pursue research in problems relevant to industry and policy makers. Academically strong B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA/MS students may approach for a research project and may also check eligibility for PhD admission in SME.
