Dr. Magesh Nagarajan is an Associate Professor in School of Management and Entrepreneurship at IIT Jodhpur. Prior to joining IIT Jodhpur, I worked as a faculty in IIM Nagpur, Coventry University (UK), Goa Institute of Management and as a postdoc in University of Southampton (UK).

I have a background in engineering, a masters by research from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a PhD in Operations and Information Management (Aston Business School, UK). As an interdisciplinary researcher, my primary interests are in applying Analytics, Simulation, Agent-based modelling, Operational research, Management science in enterprise and public services. 

In terms of domains, I have worked in the past problems related to energy sector, utilities (Water, transport and public services), sustainability (mobility, city and regional development), technology adoption and climate change adaptation (communities, farmers).
