Wagons

I have two Accucraft 4 wheel wagons:

R19-1B 4w Open Wagon ACR19-1B28310

R19-2A 4w Goods Van ACR19-2A47036

Having adjusted the couplings of other stock as described here I have lowered the couplings on these wagons as shown below.

This shows the original coupling on the open wagon. It is upside down.

This shows the coupling mounted lower using my 3D printed enclosure. Note that the body is now level with the bottom of the headstock and there is no bottom flange. The side tabs are mounted higher up the side flanges using the original bolts and holes in the headstock.

This shows the original and the new enclosures.

The hooks are rather tight on the coupling bar so I may yet cut back the bar after I have done some testing.
