“ Libyan Forum for the Rights of People with Disabilities”

The International Foundation for Electoral Systems in coordination with Libyan Disabilities Organizations is pleased to announce that it will be holding an event titled

“ Libyan Forum for the Rights of People with Disabilities”

The forum will be held over two days. During these days, “The plan for the Integration of people with disabilities in the electoral process”, which is a plan prepared by IFES and DPO’s, will be presented and discussed. In addition to that, the goal of the forum is to introduce international laws pertaining to accessibility and implementation mechanisms as well as working on an electoral law that would guarantee the right of participation for people with disabilities which would be presented to the High National Election Commission.
