The fee for firearms applications is $80.00.
Please note: New applicants may enter their application online. Contact our office to schedule an appointment to complete your application.
Age: 21 years of age or Older. (18 years of age or older provide proof of completion of basic training and active duty).
Who: You must be domiciled (primary residence) in Long County.
What to Bring: Applicants must furnish proof of Long County residence such as a valid Georgia Driver's License, Georgia State ID Card. Your Georgia Driver's License must have your physical address on it
Non-US citizens must furnish a Resident Alien ID card of other proof of lawful admission as a permanent resident in the USA.
Fees:
- $80.00 cash or money order for new applicants
- $31.00 for renewals (within 30 days after expiration date)
- $6.00 for card reprint for lost or stolen licenses.
- (Application Fee to the Long County Probate Court at the time of application)
