- Our History

The Lompoc Unified School District Community Education Foundation is the result of discussions in early 1996 between parents and educators who are actively concerned about the state of public education both nationally and locally. This organization was created as a California non-profit public benefit corporation. As a tax-exempt education foundation, it is committed to enabling all of our students, from kindergarten through high school, to pursue academic and personal excellence. Lompoc is one of over 200 communities which have established such education foundations in California.
