Escaping Extinction: NOVA Wild at Lindsay Wildlife Museum!
Get ready for an exciting STEM-powered wildlife adventure! Scouts will explore how endangered and threatened animals survive in the wild and how we can help them thrive.
During this hands‑on program, Scouts will:
Meet real endangered or threatened animals up close
Discover the science behind habitat loss and conservation
Team up for a mini‑stewardship project to take action for wildlife
Take a 1‑mile guided hike around the Lindsay Wildlife campus to learn about native species and ecosystems
Participation in this field trip and SPCA Workshop will help Scouts complete major portions of the STEM NOVA – “NOVA Wild!” award. Details on rest of the requirements for the award to be posted soon.
