Arabic Foundation IV Course

Course Description:

This course is the fourth of six courses that offered through a 2-year Arabic studies program which is designed to enhance Qura’n & Sunnah understanding through learning the Arabic language. The program takes a comprehensive approach into reading, writing, understanding & speaking Arabic with special emphasis on grammar & understanding as well as building a strong Arabic vocabulary.

Course Objectives:

At the completion of this course, inshallah students should:

*Reinforce & Apply the Grammar introduced in previous courses into selected texts.

*Introduce Intermediate Grammar rules.

*Build on the Arabic morphology "Sarf" introduced in the second course.

*Analyze and comprehend selected passages " 1st Juzu of the Qur'an + the stories of the prophets"

Course Prerequisite:

The successful completion of Arabic Foundation I, II, & III

Textbooks & Material:

1. Second steps in Arabic Grammar

2. Qur'an language made easy

3. Qisas An-Nabyyin

4. Handouts

Fees:

$80 for both enrollment and books in which $30 will be refunded back to student if the student missed three sessions or less, and took all given exams.

Attendance & Tardiness policy:

Attendance is mandatory & essential to benefit from the course. It’s very important to attend every class on time.
