Welcome!

I am a professor of economics at LMU Munich and director of the ifo Center for International Economics. I am a research affiliate at CEPR and CESifo and principal investigator at the Collaborative Research Center SFB CRC TRR 190 from the German Research Foundation.

I serve as associate editor of the Review of International Economics (since 2021) and the Journal of Comparative Economics (since 2024) .

My main area of research is international economics.
