Costs
The basic cost for the 5-day workshop is $1,500. However, fulltime students pay only half price, $750. The principle behind the student discount is financial need -- we assume students have less money to spend. So if you are, say, a manager at a company who happens to be getting a PhD in your spare time, please don't sign up as a student. There is also a 20% early-bird discount for people registering before April 15.
University of Kentucky Students and Faculty
As long as there is space, you may attend the workshop for free. However, if you wish to be guaranteed a spot, you will have to enroll and pay like any other participant. Either way, you need to register.
The price covers the cost of tuition; participants are responsible for their own hotel/travel/food costs. Aside from a few special events, the workshop does not provide meals.
