Report
Five of us met for the renga in Antelope Park, but the pavilion was too cold given the temperature and wind; so we moved to some picnic tables to the east of the pavilion.
Earth Day was in progress, which I had not anticipated (sorry), so there was very little parking and lots and lots of people.
Despite the cool temperature, wind, lack of parking, small turnout and crowded park, we had a nice time and produced a nice renga.
There were hawks, butterflies, snacks, balloons, picnicking families, Earth Day celebrants, and good talk with interesting people about all kinds of things, poetic and otherwise. The only negative aspect was that more poets could not partake of the experience. Maybe next time . . . :-)
Participants were (in sequence):
Sarah Fairchild
Shiela Tinkham
Charlene Neeley
Mark Fairchild
Larry Reznicek
