My name is John Lindo. I am NASM certified personal trainer with over 25yrs experience. I am NASM Performace Enhancement Specialist, MMA Conditioning Specialist. I am an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor. I played basketball and ran track for Tuskegee University from 1992 to 1996. I have competed in triathlons , marathons and numerous 10k races. I Black belt in Toryu Taijutsu. I was Chief Aquatic’s instructor at the Greater Cleveland YMCA for two years. I was a member of Tuskegee University Department of Sports Medicine and was in charge of Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Track, Volleyball, and Tennis. I was Asst. Track and Field/Cross Country Coach at Tuskegee University from 2005 to 2017. I am currently the Asst Director of Youth Sports for Tuskegee Parks and Recreation.
I started Lindo Fitness to better train athletes and help people get into shape. The program starts with an activity level test, blood pressure test, weight, height, body fat % and BMI. Measurements are the taken. Nutrient and diet plans are devised in conjunction with the personal fitness goals. LINDO Fitness utilizes aquatics, plyometrics, speed drills, sports specific drills and katas to help people reach their fitness goals.
