Is a database containing information about all of the books in the library collection that is searchable by various methods. Will let you know if we have the book, more about it, and where its located or Call Number.
Keyword: Searches for the words in the box in every part of the information about each book. Is the default search setting.
Example Cats: Looks for the word in the title, author, book description, and other book information.
Title: Searches for the words in the box only in the titles of the books in the database.
Example Cats: Looks for the word only in the Title of the book.
Author: Searches for the Authors last name when entered into the search box.
Example Blume: Looks for the name only as an Author of the book.
Subject: Searches for the words in the box only in relation to what the book is about (subject heading).
Example Cats: Looks for Cats as what the book is about not just the title of the book.
Series: Searches for the name of the book series in the Database and returns any matching results.
Example 39 Clues: Looks for the book series and lets you know how many we have.
