LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Upon entering the library the student should sign the logbook.
2. SILENCE must be observed strictly at all times, mobile phones must be in a silent mode while inside the library.
3. The library is only for research and study.
Discussions must be done outside the library.
A student who continuously talks may be sent out of the library after disregarding the warning from the librarian.
4. Books and other materials are handled with care. All books and materials used must be returned properly.
5. Examine books and other materials carefully before borrowing them. Clipping, cutting or marking any library material or property is subject to disciplinary action. Report to the librarian any discovery of such.
6. Put things in order before leaving the library.
7. Eating, sleeping, littering, talking and discussing are not allowed in the library. Always maintain the cleanliness of the library.
8. Be courteous when borrowing and returning books and other materials.
9. Books returned with missing pages or torn pages will be the responsibility of the last borrower. Borrower should therefore inspect books pages before reading.
10. Books are to be used properly. Tearing, writing on them or using them as a writing board to be avoided.
11. Failure to return the books on due date, fines will be imposed.
12. All borrowed books and other library material must be returned properly before the clearance slips are signed. All lost and damaged books must have been settled. borrowing books outside use is not allowed after submission of the clearance.
13. Student who have major disciplinary cases in the library see the Campus Director for exit interview before clearance slips are signed.
COMPUTER AND INTERNET POLICY
1. The internet facility is available during official time scheduled:
8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (Monday to Friday)
1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. (Monday to Friday)
NO NOON BREAK
2. Present the SCHOOL ID to the librarian and claim it before leaving the library.
3. Sign in on the logbook provided before you start operating assigned terminal.
4. The internet is intended primarily for RESEARCH PURPOSES. Hence, email transmission and opening Facebook account are discouraged.
5. Students should not access sited that morally detrimental such as pornography.
6. Students shall access only one sites that are directly related to their classwork or discussions.
7. Students should never use the network in sending flame letter/messages.
8.The use of the terminal is on a "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. "
9. A user is allowed to use only one hour per time slot and a maximum of 8 hours in a semester.
The following are misuse of the internet facilities:
Deleting, renaming, moving, copying, or changing any file or properties of the software.
Tampering with the installed software and files.
Attempting to change passwords and damaging other individual's work.
Installing, copying or knowingly infecting the computer system with a virus.
10. Sanction will be imposed for any misuse of Internet Facilities.
11. Damages incurred by the user at the internet Terminal will be charged to the user's account.
12. Only one student is allowed per terminal, viewers are discouraged.
13. The use of FLASH DRIVE is strictly prohibited.
14. Please return your chairs properly before leaving.
15. Students are bound by the rules and regulation of the internet.
VIRTUAL GENERAL ORIENTATION PROGRAM
