Online Reservation and Pick-up

Reference services – Assist users in finding the answer to specific reference questions. Help users in developing research strategies for writing reports, take home assignments and research papers. Instruct users in the use of the library and its resources to make the search of information fast and easy
Reader’s Services – these services include circulation and lending .All ISPSC students, faculty and staff members are free to use and borrow library materials. No books or library materials may be brought out of the library until the loan has been recorded at the issue desk. Library materials borrowed must be returned on or before due date. A fine can be imposed on anyone returning an overdue book. Borrowers will be held responsible for materials out on loan. If the material is lost, an immediate report should be made to the Librarian to enable appropriate action to be taken.
Computer and Internet Services- All students can access the internet. Students may Google, and search information through different URLs. Strictly for research only, Playing games, chatting and opening Facebook account are discouraged.
Other Services
1. Bibliographic Assistance: Assists reader in the use of electronic catalogs and data base and the internet; assists in the choice of library materials for subjects of inquiry, and directs users to the appropriate sources of information
2. Current Awareness: Displays journals and magazines
3. Literature Searchers: Aids clientele by searching relevant information using books, online data base and the internet
4. Lending and Inter Library Loan: Charges and discharging materials to legitimate users
5. Library Orientation and Tour: Holds a short lecture on the holdings, services and location of materials
6. Media Services: Views or listens to audio visual materials like the Television, CD – ROMS and video tapes for recommendation to readers/library users
7. Information and referrals : attends to visiting users with requires referral letters -process request of ISPSC students and faculty members.
