This WebQuest was designed as a way to integrate the Missouri History Standards for 4th grade with the Common Core State Standards of Reading and Writing. The ISTE NETS for Students are also incorporated into this WebQuest.

Implementation Overview:
Students will work in groups of 3 to 4 to research the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This WebQuest is designed to be completed in 8 consecutive days (approximately 45 minutes per day) in the school computer lab.
Entry Level Skills Needed:
Students will need to be able to read and write at a 4th grade level (accommodations should be provided for students who aren't at grade level). Students should be able to log on to a school computer and type at an appropriate 4th grade level.

- Microphones connected to at least 6 or 7 computers (1 for each group)
- Student worksheets
- Access to Meograph (either a teacher account with student access, or student's must have their own email account to create a Meograph account)
