Ventilation

In highly insulated and tight buildings, thermal losses associated to ventilation can account for 50% of the total losses. We are investigating different techniques aiming at improving the ventilation energy performance:

• Decentralized ventilation units with heat recovery (double flow ventilation): green+ project

  • Use of PCM integrated into heat exchangers (single flow ventilation): thermostock project

• Exhaust air heat pumps (single flow ventilation): smartPac project
