Group Projects
Rule #1: BE CREATIVE!
>The rubric for grading the projects is found in the files area.
>In depth details and other requirements regarding the projects will be discussed in class.
>There will be allocated class meetings (the day after each quiz) for your projects. Please do most of your work in the classroom.
Project 1 = Collage (Monopolistic Competition)
-each group has to choose a particular product of monopolistic competition (example: shampoo) to focus on and show the reason why people buy that product
-there is no need to explain the collage, I must understand what you want to convey just by looking at it

>1/8 illustration board
>Do not just paste pictures of brands

Project 2 = Scrapbook (The Growth of a Country)
-each group has to choose a particular country to focus on (start from contemporary history--after World War 2; and tell the country's story showing both good times and bad)
Requirements:
>Minimum 10 pages (5 sheets of paper/paperboard, back to back) The more filled pages with great content, the better.
>Maximum size (length and width) = approximately the size of a short bond paper, anything smaller is ok
>Include a reference list for your sources
>Individual reflection paper regarding the topic (minimum 1 page; separate bond paper from the scrapbook; spacing, margins, font = it is all up to you.)

Project 3 = Scrapbook (Philippines: Problems and Solutions)
-each group has to choose a particular problem to focus on (education, health, environment, population, urbanization, urban job market, farmers, fishermen, corruption, etc.) and show the solutions of the government and the group's own suggestions
Requirements:
>Minimum 10 pages (5 sheets of paper/paperboard back to back) The more filled pages with great content, the better.
>Maximum size (length and width) = approximately the size of a short bond paper, anything smaller is ok
>Include a reference list for your sources
>Individual reflection paper regarding the topic (minimum 1 page; separate bond paper from the scrapbook; spacing, margins, font = it is all up to you.)
