30.10.26 - Bishop Patrick is visiting all Parishes in the Deanery to speak about the Parish Mission Plan. He will be visiting our Parish on the weekend of 5th / 6th December 2026. He will celebrate all Masses over the weekend and is hoping to meet with a small group of Parishioners to discuss the Mission Plan. On Sunday afternoon there will also be a Celebration of the Sacrament of the Sick at the Assumption Church followed by afternoon tea.

Diocesan Update 01.03.26

We often mistake faith for a set of rules to maintain or a routine to follow. But Bishop Patrick’s Mission Plan, "Go and Make Disciples," begins with a different invitation: An Encounter.

Before we can be a people of mission, we must be a people who are personally transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. Are you hungry for something deeper than just "showing up"?

This week, we begin our journey toward 2030 by looking at the first pillar of our vision: Encounter.

The Week Ahead:

Tuesday 3rd March: A personal message from Bishop Patrick on the heart of the plan.

Thursday 5th March: Decoding the "Encounter" pillar—what does it actually mean?

Friday 6th March: A Story from the Field—how an encounter with Jesus changed someone’s life.
