The first Learning Design Cross Institutional Network took place on 7th of October 2016 at the Open University. The meeting was very well attended and members felt that there were many opportunities for this group to work closely together in the future.
The aims of the group/plans for further meetings were agreed:
interested in seeing (demos) tools and practices, and how they fit into institutional policies and strategies
Research/publications to be shared in the group
Information repository – Cloudworks to be used for now, this will be discussed further in the next meeting
Possible collaborative projects and funding bids
Barriers to overcome, for instance challenges in order to become more agile producing learning materials while also ensuring quality assurance.
