|Chapter 6: Your Tasks|

Let’s help you think about what you learned from reading this book. Here are two tasks for you to complete.

• Use your notebook to write a list of healthy habits. You will work with a partner to create a mind map to share your healthy habits with the rest of the school.

• You are to write a children's story for First Graders to teach them about viruses, bacteria and fungi. Write your story in your notebook with the main characters such as Mr. Virus, Ms. Bacteria, and Susie the Fungus.Try to tell an interesting story with your characters doing things that teach the readers about what they are. The first step is to write in your notebook everything you know about viruses, bacteria and fungi by taking notes as you read this online book. The second step is to be creative and write an interesting story in your notebook that teaches your readers about viruses, bacteria and fungi. the third step is to draw some sketches in your notebook to illustrate your story. You will then work with Mr. Carpenter to make a digital story on the iPad. You will use an art app to draw the pictures for your story. The next step will be to insert the images into a screencasting app to then record the reading of your story from your notebook.
