Jolly Phonics

Below you will find a collection of workbooks. The system of Jolly Phonics is most commonly used in British curriculum schools. Click here for a teacher and parent guide. To download the books below, click below the workbook, then click the arrow in the left corner.

Phonics is the teaching of the sounds that letters make, rather than the names of letters that are taught in the alphabet, because it is the sounds that are useful for reading and writing, not the names. These sounds are taught in a systematic way, alongside all of the skills needed for being a fluent reader and writer. Click the pages below to get resources for the groups of sounds taught in that group.
