Nominating Committee

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak,

remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ "

Acts 20:35

A Nominating Committee of six voting members of this congregation, two of whom, if possible, shall be outgoing members of the Congregation Council, shall be elected at the annual meeting for a term of one year. Members of the Nominating Committee are not eligible for consecutive reelection.

The Nominating Committee shall nominate one or more candidates for each position on the Congregation Council and shall secure the consent of each candidate to serve if elected. A vacancy in the Nominating Committee shall be filled by action of the Congregational Council.

The current Nominating Committee, elected in 2019, is currently working on the nominations for 2020.
