Associate Professor in Control Theory and Robotics 


I'm currently Associate Professor at ENSE3, Grenoble INP.

My research activities are carried out within the COPERNIC team at GIPSA-lab, Grenoble, France.

Bio

I was born in Madrid on July 1984. I received my Master degree in Automation and Electronics Engineering in 2008 from the Technical University of Madrid, Spain.

During my scholarship in France at the Grenoble Institute of Technology (2007/08) I joined the NeCS Team (Gipsa-lab/Inria). I received my Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering from the University of Grenoble, France in 2011. I was a Teaching and Researcher Assistant with the Department of Automatic Control (Gipsa-lab) at Grenoble Institute of Technology during the academic year 2011-2012.

From May 2013 to July 2014 I was a Posdoctoral researcher in the Dynamical Systems and Ocean Robotics Group DSOR, Institut of Systems and Robotics ISR at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal.

From October 2014 to July 2015 I was Research Engineer at Toulouse Tech Transfer (TTT) working within the MAC group at the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS-CNRS) in Toulouse, France. 

During the academic year 2015/2016 I was Teaching assistant and Researcher at the Joseph Fourier University (UFR PHITEM) working within the SLR group at GIPSA-lab in Grenoble, France. From 2017 to 2018 I worked as Postdoctoral Researcher at GIPSA-lab within the SYSCO team, Grenoble, France.

From September 2018 to August 2021, I was working as Research Engineering  at the Intelligent Integrated Multi-sensors Lab (LIIM) at CEA on estimation, perception and sensor fusion for autonomous systems.
