Gesture is a fluid and hibryd act, between a cross-disciplinary instant composed performance and a lecture, with art critic and broadcaster Matthew Collings featuring as part of the piece, made in collaboration by artists Maggie Nicols, Mark Rowan-Hull, Lavinia Cascone Emmanuel L. Spinelli, Portia Winters and Chris Redgate.

Following the Gesture collective performance, as part of Mark Rowan-Hull's residency at the Kendrew Barn - St John's College in Oxford, visual artist Mark Rowan-Hull, movement artists Lavinia Cascone and musician Chris Redgate, continued to explore their collaboration in a two week span. Hosting improvised pieces and co-creating artworks in front of gallery's viewers.
