PLTW Engineering
The Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering Pathway is a dynamic high school program that introduces students to the concepts of engineering and technology. Through a sequence of hands-on, project-based courses, students explore various fields of engineering such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace. The PLTW Engineering courses offered in the STEM Academy include Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, and PLTW Captstone. Students engage in activities like designing prototypes, solving real-world engineering problems, and collaborating on team projects, building critical-thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills needed for success in engineering careers.
